Meet Pinewood’s New Instructional Leader

While many factors affect student learning, Pinewood’s ability to provide a challenging curriculum and support high-quality, differentiated, and personalized teaching in every classroom is essential to our mission. To that aim, the Instructional Leader supports teachers with their practices and plays a key role in the continual improvement of teaching and learning at Pinewood.

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Robert Ledlie to the position of Instructional Leader this year. Mr. Ledlie is taking over the role that was previously held by Ms. Marabee Foutnain. Mr. Ledlie has been teaching and leading for over 22 years, starting at PS 28 in Brooklyn, NY as an elementary math specialist and instructional coach. He moved to Ruamrudee International School in Bangkok, Thailand in 2006 as an elementary science specialist and instructional coach before becoming a middle school math teacher there. For the past 5 years, he lived in Shenzhen, China, and worked as the Head of Secondary/Academic Vice Principal at Shenzhen Oasis International School.
