Dear EY and Elementary Parents/Guardians,
One more week until the start of school! We have been working hard to prepare both campuses to welcome our students. Over the next few days, you will receive more emails with further information regarding other topics. This email is about the drop-off and pick-up procedures.
To reach the EY/Elementary building, take the gate on the left side once you reach the Anatolia main entrance. Then you follow the directions of the security guard and/or the teachers.
Please note that the time frame for parents to drop off their child(ren) is limited. We, therefore, encourage all students who live close to the bus routes to take the bus, to limit the number of cars on campus. You can find an overview of our Elementary bus stops HERE. Please email us in case you would like to use the school bus.
MORNING DROP-OFF PROCEDURE
- Buses arrive between 8:00 and 8:10
- Students can only be dropped off between 8:05 and 8:20
- Parents can not park on campus
- Parents can drive up to the front of the school, students should be ready to leave the car with their school bag ready
- Teachers will collect the younger students from the car and escort them to the building
EY1 and EY2 parents who want to walk their child to class can park on campus between 8.45 and 9.00.
IMPORTANT - First week of school only!
In order to make the transition into the new school year as smooth as possible, we will have staggered drop-off times during
the first week of school only:
- Grade 5 & 6: Drop-off at 8.15
- Grade 3 & 4: Drop-off at 8.25
- Grade 1 & 2: Drop-off at 8.35
- Grade K, EY1 & EY2: Drop-off at 8.45
Students with siblings in Elementary can arrive during the earliest slot. Students who have siblings in Secondary can be late fthe first week of school
AFTERNOON PICK-UP PROCEDURE
- Buses arrive at 15.00 and leave by 15.10
- Students can only be picked up by car between 15.10 and 15.20
- Parents can not park on campus
- Students will be waiting in front of the building and will be called when the car pulls up
- Once after-school activities start, parents can pick up their children from their after-school activities between 16.15 and 16.30
SHUTTLE BUS
We understand that the operation on two campuses might be logistically challenging. Therefore, we have arranged for a shuttle bus between the two campuses. To be able to offer this service, we need a minimum of 15 students. The routes and times of the shuttle bus are as follows:
MORNING SHUTTLE BUS
- Shuttle bus from Thermi to Anatolia: Leaves at 7:50 - arrival around 8:10 (Secondary siblings can go to the library until school starts)
- Shuttle bus from Anatolia to Thermi: Leaves at 8:15 - arrival around 8:30 (ONLY for Secondary students with siblings on the Anatolia campus)
AFTERNOON SHUTTLE BUS
- 1st Shuttle bus from Anatolia to Thermi: Leaves at 15:10 - arrival around 15:25
- Shuttle bus from Thermi to Anatolia: Leaves at 15:30 - arrival around 15:45
- 2nd Shuttle bus from Anatolia to Thermi: Leaves at 16:15 - arrival around 16:30
The fees for the shuttle bus are as follows:
- 400 euros non-refundable, per year/child - for round trip
- 250 euros non-refundable, per year/child - for one way trip
